750 words = 3 pagesIndependant Study focusing on Drupal integration with Flash and Flex, with an interest in skinning/theme manipulationg of various sections, views, and blocks in order to create several different "sites" or design feels from one base content management system.Goals for these various themes:- One partical CSS/partial Flash theme; a theme done with some flash extras, such as a fancy navigation, embedded movie files (like in a side bar?) and/or a header while still maintaining a css design over content itself.- One fully flashed theme. One design that is completely, seemingly rendered by flash and reads the content in from drupal itself; preferably animated completely, and has some kind of linear story or time line for navigation through the site itself. It can make sense as in a story, but I would be interested in doing just abstract animation (maybe a collection?)- One use of a Flex application using drupal as the back end to read in it's content, and run the Flex application. In theory these three would be Subsites of a main CSS/Drupal site and not only show off the versitlity of Drupal (As well as as a good exercize in themeing and working with Drupal/Flash integration) but as a way to work on building a "viral" type experience, with one main CMS server or project running a collection of sub-sites around the main themes/idea.For the class we would meet three hours a day, to work on the site itself. Concept ideas would be created and listed before the first day in order to immediately start paring down to the concept that would most likely be able to give enough content and flexibility to do all three (four) sites. In theory we would take a day for the base CSS; one day of the simple flash integration leaving three for the full drupal flash site, and four for the Flex site. For materials (in addition to Steve, :)) there is the base information for Drupal at drupal.org, the base FAQ's at Adobe for both Flash (ActionScript 3) and Flex. Due to many of them being so new, there aren't a lot of books out, and thus (leave room for book recommendation?)
